From 2009, the IRS claims Cole needs to pay back $162,158.93 in taxes.

2009 was a good year for the “Love” singer. She headlined her tour, A Different Me Tour and saw a profitable year.

“We have made a demand for payment of this liability, but it remains unpaid,” the documents read.

It continued with, “therefore, there is a lien in favor of the United States on all property and rights to property belonging to this taxpayer for the amount of the taxes and additional penalties, interest and costs that may accrue.”

Unfortunately celebrities losing out because of their financial woes isn’t uncommon.

Nevertheless, she might want to pay back her taxes soon or risk losing her property, which the IRS said it take from her.
