Janet Jackson fans you may be both excited and disappointed to know that the long-awaited Unbreakable tour has officially been postponed.

Miss Jackson posted a message to fans on social media finally explaining the reason why the tour has been delayed. Apparently she and hubby Wissam want to plan a family and it’s “important that they do it now”. She’s also been advised to “rest up, doctors orders.”

“Hey you guys, on August 31 I launched the Unbreakable world tour. First I want to thank all the fans for coming out and seeing the show, you guys made it so enjoyable each and every night,” Janet said.

“We are in the second leg of the tour and there’s been a sudden change and I thought it was important you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family so I’m going to have to delay the tour.”

She continued: “Please, if you can, try and understand it’s important that I do this now, I have to rest up, doctor’s orders, but I have not forgotten about you, I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”

The 49-year-old concluded by thanking her crew, band, friends and fans for their support and said she appreciated their loyalty while she focuses on her family.
