The monumental voice of the Beacon Drive In, JC Stroble has died. Stroble’s family shared with the public that J.C. passed just before 6:00PM Monday evening. J.C. began calling orders for the Beacon nearly 57 years ago, a position he held faithfully until his recent hospitalization earlier this month after falling and suffering a severe brain injury. Many were in hopes of J.C.’s return; as was shown by the number of patrons who signed his get well banner at the restaurant prior to the news of his passing.
