The best thing that ever happened to me was the day my daughter Shai was born.

Looking into her eyes and spending time with her makes me want to be a better man and father. I want Shai to grow up being happy, feeling safe and secure knowing that I love her; and never doubting that anything is or will be more important than being her father.

Shai helped redefine fatherhood for me.

A father is more than a title, more than providing financially, it’s about being there emotionally and physically, it’s being present in your child’s life.

Fatherhood to me is giving unconditional love, I want Shai to know that no matter what she may go through in life good or bad, daddy will always be there to catch her when she falls, give some tough love when needed and most of all love her for life.

This is what Father’s Day and fatherhood means to me.
