ATLANTA —Police say they have found the gun the Fulton County prosecutor’s estranged husband used to kill himself, after shooting his wife three times and an unidentified man once.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that police have not identified the man who was in the car with Assistant District Attorney April McConnell at the time of Friday’s shooting. Police are calling the double shooting a domestic incident.
April McConnell filed for divorce from her husband, Tranard McConnell, on Monday. Police found Tranard McConnell’s body at a cemetery close to the site of the initial shooting, dead of a self-inflicted shot to the head.
April McConnell remains in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital.
